career development
The goal of my little blog series is to write about things I’ve learned since I’ve become a full-time technical writer. One of the most important things I’ve learned is how to learn from other writers. It seems like a simple concept…I mean people have been apprenticing trades since ancient times, but I think there’s a tendency – especially in my generation – to ignore or neglect the importance of mentoring.

Hello, I am a new writer that just started a blog of my own here, and it is for writing. Both to accumulate some fans [important for many people in the publishing Biz to see that their "investments" have a good chance for success], and for review by both average Joes and other writers. Maybe we could both review and critique each others writings? I am looking for someone else who’s a writer, as I do not have access to many where I am right now.
I wholeheartedly agree about joining something, it is very important for a writer to be a part of some social group, as they will inspire many ideas, and make the writing seem more real.
My blog is actually run by both me and a friend; maybe we could all discuss writing things? If you’re interested, send a reply.
